Hybrid Eyelash Extension
What is a hybrid lash extension?
A hybrid set would be the perfect solution if you can’t decide between single and volume eyelashes. If the classic set is too boring for you then the hybrid one is just what you need! It is fuller than classic lashes but less than Russian volume eyelash extensions. I’d recommend a hybrid lash extension for those who want to make their eyes more noticeable. If you have never done lash extension before but want a bit of drama in your look, definitely go for the hybrid lash extension instead of a Russian volume set. If you will get done a full Russian volume eyelash extension and it will turn up to be too full for you, it’s hard to remove extra lashes without damaging your natural ones. With hybrid lashes, you won’t have this problem because you always can add extra volume eyelashes to them.
So which lashes do we use to create a hybrid look?
It’s a mix of classic eyelash extension and Russian volume eyelash extensions. By Russian, I mean 2D, 3D, 4D, etc, which are fans made of individual lashes. You can choose how full and dramatic you want your hybrid lash extension done by using more single or volume eyelashes. This set will make your eyes look full but natural. Same as with classic eyelashes extension, this set could look different on you and your friend, as we all have different eye shapes and a number of natural lashes.
Hybrid lash extension usually takes a bit longer than the classic one, but less than a Russian volume eyelash extension, as all volume eyelashes we use, are handmade during the application. We never use premade volume eyelashes in our studio because these premade fans were already dipped into the glue when they were created. So, when you dip it again, you can get a glue build-up on the end of the lash which can create a cluster and a messy lash line.

How to care for eyelash extensions?
If you will follow all the instructions for caring for your lash extensions, your lashes will remain fuller longer. So, the most important rules are:
- keep your lashes dry for 24 hours after the procedure
- don’t use any oil-based products
- clean your lash extensions daily (after 24 hours of course). All the oil, sweat and makeup build-up breaks down the glue. Cleaning with lash shampoo daily will avoid lashes falling out prematurely. Check our store.
However, there are so many other reasons for retention like skin type (lash extensions will fall out faster if you have oily skin), bad habits (yes, some people pull their lashes out!), steam (definitely wouldn’t recommend taking hot and long showers), hormones (menopause and pregnancy), medications (taking antibiotics or any other strong medications can affect retention).
