What is threading?
Eyebrow threading is an ancient method of hair removal that came from India. Recently it became popular in Western countries.
Wrap a thin thread around the hand, then twist. Roll over the areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where a single hair is pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair. Check our services.
Eyebrow threading vs waxing
The benefits of threading are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin.
There are a few different techniques for eyebrow threading. These include the hand method, mouth method and neck. Each technique has advantages and disadvantages; however, the mouth holding method is the fastest and most precise.
Eyebrow tweezing vs waxing
Tweezing is generally less damaging for skin than waxing, but accidentally poking, scraping, or pulling can lead to breaks in the skin and even infections. (especially an unsterilized pair that’s been sitting in your medical cabinet)
Eyebrow threading is performed with soft fibers at the surface level, it won’t accidentally grip the edge of a follicle or scratch skin.
You also can get face threading done in our studio. We are specialised in eyelash extensions. We provide Classic, Hybrid and Russian eyelash extensions.
